About Us
The most important thing you should know about us is that we are most definitely NOT  "in the timeshare business".  We are not even in real estate!  John is a firefighter, Marlene is a Registered Nurse, and we have two terrific and active teenagers.  We live in West Fargo, North Dakota...truly "God's Country"!   It does get VERY cold here, though, so spending time in warm and sunny Puerto Plata with it's gentle tropical ocean breezes is a welcome change!  Our goal is very simple:  to give our family members, friends, and other guests access to our wonderful resort at an honest and fair price.
 
How Did We Become Owners Here?
We spent Easter 2008 at Lifestyle Hacienda Crown Villas and Spa, having picked it out of the RCI catalog sight unseen.  A 3 BR/4 Bath private villa was listed as $799 for VIP status.  We could not believe what a great price that was, so I quickly booked a week.  It was then that we realized the $799 was PER NIGHT!  Needless to say, we had a moment of panic and felt sick!  Then we decided we would just bite the bullet, go, and have a great time in what we thought would certainly be a once in a lifetime vacation.  The week in our beautiful villa cost us a whopping $5,600....OUCH!  But then, realizing that we really wanted to return to this amazing place, we joined the vacation club here.  Now we can go back for a fraction of that price.  We quickly decided we would like to share this good fortune and help other families and guests book here...a place that is such a well-kept secret that their slogan is "Tell it only to your best friends!"
